Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on the Campbellsville Bypass near Walmart in Campbellsville, according to Kentucky State Police.<\/p>\n
Trooper Jonathan Houk, public affairs officer for KSP, said troopers responded to the collision and launched an investigation into the crash.<\/p>\n
A preliminary investigation indicates that 57-year-old Ann Copass of Greensburg was attempting to make a left turn onto the Campbellsville Bypass when her vehicle entered the path of an oncoming motorcycle driven by 35-year-old Christopher Penoyer of Campbellsville. The motorcycle collided with Copass\u2019s vehicle.<\/p>\n
Authorities said Copass was pronounced dead at the scene by the Taylor County Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Penoyer was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders and investigators remained on scene as officials worked to document evidence and determine the full circumstances of the crash.<\/p>\n
