SIMPS0NVILLE, S.C. \u2014 A death investigation is underway in Greenville County after a man was found fatally shot in the roadway Friday night, according to the Greenville County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Deputies said they received a 911 call shortly before 7:45 p.m. reporting a gunshot victim lying in the road near Gorman Place. When responders arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Authorities have not yet officially released the victim\u2019s identity. However, multiple tributes circulating on social media have identified the victim as 21-year-old \u201cYung Steven,\u201d though this information has not been confirmed by law enforcement.<\/p>\n
