According to the Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were called to a residence just before 5:00 a.m. after receiving a report of a homicide. Investigators say Amanda\u2019s husband, 51-year-old Jason Andrew Heimbach, allegedly confessed to killing her before fleeing the scene in a gray 2018 SUV. When authorities arrived, they found Amanda deceased inside the home.<\/p>\n
A search for Jason continued through the morning and ended later at approximately 10:40 a.m., when police responded to a crash on State Route 104 in Perry Township involving the same SUV and a parked tractor-trailer.
