TUCSON, Ariz. \u2014 A woman was killed and a man has been arrested following a deadly shooting at an apartment complex near Golf Links and Pantano, according to the Tucson Police Department.<\/p>\n
Officers were called on Monday, June 29, to the Lakeside Casitas Apartments on East Golf Links Road for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found 38-year-old Aimee Leigh Kimble dead on the back porch of a residence.<\/p>\n
Police identified the suspect as William Michael Pritchard, 33, who lived at the apartment. Investigators said Kimble had been visiting Pritchard when the shooting occurred during an argument.<\/p>\n
Pritchard was arrested and booked on a charge of second-degree murder and is being held on a $1 million bond.<\/p>\n
During his initial court appearance, prosecutors alleged that Pritchard gave multiple conflicting accounts of what happened. According to court records, he initially claimed Kimble was a burglar but later admitted he had invited her to the apartment after meeting her online.<\/p>\n
