The coroner confirmed that Conner had been shot multiple times.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives immediately launched a homicide investigation, processing the scene, gathering evidence, and interviewing witnesses to determine what led to the deadly shooting.<\/p>\n<p>During the course of the investigation, detectives identified 38-year-old Hollis Wayne Russ as the suspect in the case. Authorities have since obtained an arrest warrant charging Russ with Murder.<\/p>\n<p>The Long Beach Police Department is actively searching for Russ, who was last seen at a residence in Moss Point, Mississippi. Investigators have warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous, and they are urging the public not to approach him if he is seen.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, anyone with information regarding Russ\u2019s whereabouts or details related to the fatal shooting is asked to immediately contact the Long Beach Police Department at <a href=\"tel:228-865-1981\">228-865-1981<\/a> or Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at <a href=\"tel:1-877-787-5898\">1-877-787-5898<\/a>. Anonymous tips are also encouraged.<\/p>\n<p>The death of Neville Conner has left family members, friends, and the Long Beach community mourning the loss of a loved one while awaiting answers.
