WATERLOO, Iowa \u2014 A Waterloo man lost his life in a tragic motorcycle crash on Wednesday afternoon, July 1, 2026, along Sergeant Road (Highway 63), according to local authorities.<\/p>\n
The fatal crash occurred at approximately 3:47 p.m., when Black Hawk County Consolidated Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a motorcycle accident near Freedom Lane in Waterloo.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the motorcycle operator separated from his bike following the crash. Despite their efforts, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Authorities have identified the victim as 43-year-old Marcus Porter of Waterloo.<\/p>\n
