ST. LOUIS, Mo. \u2014 A woman has died following an early morning shooting Sunday near Labadie Avenue and Newstead Avenue, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.<\/p>\n
Police said District 6 officers responded to the area at approximately 1:16 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found an adult woman suffering from injuries related to the incident. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced deceased.<\/p>\n
The victim was identified by loved ones as Benita Randle.<\/p>\n
