COLUMBUS, Ohio \u2014 A 67-year-old woman was found dead Friday afternoon on the city\u2019s east side, prompting a homicide investigation by the Columbus Police Department.<\/p>\n
According to authorities, officers responded to Faber Avenue following an unknown complaint. When they arrived, they discovered Randelle Bowman, 67, with what police described as obvious trauma to her body.<\/p>\n
Bowman was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Following an investigation, homicide detectives identified 31-year-old David K. Holmes as a suspect. Officers later detained Holmes near the area and charged him with murder in connection with Bowman\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
