A husband and wife from Ewing were killed Thursday evening in a head-on crash in Mason County, according to Kentucky State Police.<\/p>\n
The victims have been identified as William J. Szymanski, 80, and Kathlene M. Szymanski, 76, both of Ewing, Kentucky.<\/p>\n
According to investigators, the crash occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on KY 11. State police said an 81-year-old Maysville man, Roger Jolly, was traveling southbound in a Honda Accord when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with the Honda CRV occupied by the Szymanskis.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but William and Kathlene Szymanski sadly died from injuries sustained in the collision.<\/p>\n
Roger Jolly was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he remains hospitalized, according to Kentucky State Police.<\/p>\n
