Family, friends, and members of the Ewing community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of William J. Szymanski, 80, and Kathlene M. Szymanski, 76, a beloved husband and wife who died following a head-on crash Thursday evening in Mason County.<\/p>\n
According to Kentucky State Police, the collision occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on KY 11.<\/p>\n
A preliminary investigation found that Roger Jolly, 81, of Maysville, was traveling southbound in a Honda Accord when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with the Honda CRV occupied by William and Kathlene Szymanski.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, William and Kathlene were pronounced deceased from injuries sustained in the crash.<\/p>\n
