According to the Louisiana State Police, troopers responded shortly after 5:30 a.m. to a crash on US 61, also known as Scenic Highway, south of LA 964.<\/p>\n
Investigators said Kelly was driving north on US 61 when, for reasons that remain under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle traveled into the median, struck a concrete embankment, and then caught fire.<\/p>\n
