TWIGGS COUNTY, Ga. \u2014 Authorities are asking for the public\u2019s assistance after a fatal hit-and-run crash claimed the life of a 45-year-old man early Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
According to the Twiggs County Sheriff\u2019s Office, deputies responded to the 400 block of Cary Road at approximately 3 a.m. after reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. The victim was identified as Gyrino Stanley, who was fatally injured after being hit by a vehicle.<\/p>\n
Officials said the driver involved left the scene following the crash without stopping. Stanley was pronounced dead after the collision.<\/p>\n
