A tragic motorcycle crash in Cullman County claimed the life of a 32-year-old Altoona man early Thursday morning, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).<\/p>\n
Authorities identified the victim as Tyler E. Maddox. Investigators said Maddox was operating a 2019 Kawasaki Z650 motorcycle when it collided with a 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Joshua H. Boatright, 53, of Cullman.<\/p>\n
The crash occurred at approximately 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, along Alabama Highway 91 near Cullman County Road 783, about three miles south of the community of Holly Pond.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Maddox sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No information regarding injuries to the driver of the pickup truck has been released.<\/p>\n
