According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, officers responded at approximately 3:36 p.m. on June 27, 2026, to the 3500 block of Osceola Street after reports of a shooting involving multiple victims. Upon arrival, officers discovered five individuals who had been struck by gunfire.
Randall Holmes was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of his injuries. Four other victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions have not been fully released.
