MORENO VALLEY, Calif. — A 26-year-old Moreno Valley man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after his wife was found dead inside a home Tuesday night.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded at approximately 8:05 p.m. on June 30, 2026, to the 21000 block of Box Springs Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive female.
When deputies arrived, they located 27-year-old Tianah Goven of Moreno Valley suffering from traumatic injuries. Despite life-saving efforts by deputies and paramedics, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said her husband, 26-year-old Kendrick Govan, was detained at the residence for further investigation and later transported to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Central Homicide Unit assumed the investigation and later identified Kendrick Govan as the suspect. He was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on a murder charge.
The investigation remains active, and officials said no further details will be released at this time.
