In Loving Memory of Daniel Jennings

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 16, just north of Piper Trail, shortly after 5:30 p.m. A preliminary investigation determined that Daniel was operating a motorcycle when he reportedly lost control, crossed the center line, and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.

Despite the rapid response of emergency personnel, Daniel lost his life at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries. Authorities temporarily closed Route 16 while crews responded to the incident and conducted their investigation. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
