According to authorities, the three were traveling in a Ford Mustang eastbound on I-20 near mile marker 138 when the vehicle collided with a Nissan before leaving the roadway, striking a tree, and bursting into flames. Iliyah Moore was pronounced deceased at the scene, while Darren Moore and Rashod Boyd were transported to separate hospitals, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The loss of Darren and Iliyah is especially heartbreaking, as the young husband and wife had only begun building a life together.
