Husband Arrested After Wife’s Death in College Grove Investigation

Authorities in Williamson County, Tennessee, say a suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a deadly homicide that occurred on July 1, 2026, in the College Grove community.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that Douglas “Kirk” Rawl, 57, has been formally charged with criminal homicide. The victim in the case was identified as his wife, Allison Che’Che’ Rawl, 52.

Investigators stated that the case remains active as detectives continue working to determine what led to the deadly incident. At this stage, authorities have not released a motive, and the circumstances surrounding the case are still under review.

Rawl is currently being held on a $2.5 million bond.

According to officials, deputies encountered resistance during the arrest. An electronic control device was deployed after Rawl reportedly became aggressive toward law enforcement. During the encounter, he fell forward and sustained a forehead injury before being treated by medical personnel.
