In Loving Memory of Titus Singleton

With profound sadness, family, friends, and members of the Wilmington, North Carolina, community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Titus Singleton, 44, whose life ended following a tragic shooting on Saturday night, July 11, 2026.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded shortly before 10:00 p.m. to the 1500 block of South 12th Street after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Titus suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began life-saving efforts while additional emergency responders were called to the scene. Despite every effort to save him, Titus sadly passed away at the scene.

His unexpected passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him. As loved ones struggle to cope with this unimaginable loss, they are surrounded by an outpouring of prayers, love, and support from the Wilmington community.

Titus will be remembered for the life he lived, the memories he created, and the relationships he shared with those closest to him. Though his time on earth ended far too soon, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone whose lives he touched.
