In Loving Memory of Tyrian Jenkins

With profound sadness, family members, friends, and members of the Albany, Georgia, community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Tyrian Jenkins, 19, whose life ended following a tragic head-on crash on the Liberty Expressway in Albany.

The devastating crash occurred Tuesday morning when Albany Police responded to the 300 block of Liberty Expressway after a two-vehicle collision was reported. According to authorities, Tyrian was driving a black BMW when the vehicle crossed the median into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a black Ford Explorer.

Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Tyrian was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the BMW and the driver of the Ford Explorer were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Tyrian’s unexpected passing has left his loved ones facing unimaginable grief. At only 19 years old, he had a future full of possibilities ahead of him, and his life was tragically taken too soon.
