With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, family, friends, and the Sunbury community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Brian A. Wallace, 34, and his beloved wife, Megin M. Wallace, 32, whose lives were tragically taken in a devastating motorcycle crash in Northumberland County.
The couple’s lives came to a sudden end Tuesday night when the motorcycle they were riding was involved in a collision with a Jeep on Brush Valley Road near the intersection of Shock Road in Upper Augusta Township, just outside Sunbury.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m. when a Jeep driven by Kevin C. Shilo, 57, of Northumberland, entered Brush Valley Road from Shock Road and collided with the motorcycle carrying Brian and Megin.
Authorities said the impact caused both Brian and Megin to be thrown from the motorcycle. Brian was pronounced dead at the scene. Megin was transported to Geisinger Medical Center near Danville, where she later succumbed to her injuries in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The news of their passing has left their loved ones heartbroken and a community struggling to understand the loss of two people whose lives were intertwined by love and companionship. Brian and Megin will be remembered not simply by the tragedy that took them, but by the moments they shared, the kindness they showed, and the memories they created with the people around them.
Friends and family are now facing the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to a couple who still had so many dreams, plans, and moments ahead of them. Their absence leaves behind a void that can never be filled.
The driver of the Jeep and his passenger were not injured, and the investigation into the crash remains ongoing as authorities continue working to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
As the Sunbury community mourns, loved ones are holding onto the memories of Brian and Megin — a husband and wife whose bond was a reminder of love, devotion, and togetherness.
Brian and Megin may be gone from this world, but the love they shared and the memories they created will continue to live on forever in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved them.
Rest peacefully, Brian A. Wallace and Megin M. Wallace. You will never be forgotten.
