Linda Hunt Davis, 79, was driving with William Wesley Hodgin, 78, as her passenger when their vehicle was involved in a devastating two-vehicle collision on U.S. 64 at Tabernacle Church Road. The crash occurred shortly before 4:40 p.m. Monday, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, both Linda and William sadly lost their lives.
