According to the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 1:22 p.m. near Hurricane Road. Investigators said an SUV driven by Sarah Daugherty of Tennessee was attempting to pull into a driveway when she entered the path of an oncoming car traveling along Kentucky 139.
The second vehicle was being driven by Janine Riley, with Roger Hopson traveling as a passenger inside the vehicle. The collision caused significant injuries to all three people involved, prompting emergency crews to respond quickly and transport the victims for urgent medical care.
Authorities said both Janine Riley and Roger Hopson were initially taken to a local hospital before being airlifted to Skyline Medical Center due to the severity of their injuries.
