Clint Miller Killed After UTV Strikes Deer in Ingham County Crash

An Eaton Rapids man has died following a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) crash Thursday night in Ingham County, according to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the crash occurred around 9:45 p.m. on June 18 in the 5800 block of Gale Road near Baseline Road.

Authorities reported that 46-year-old Clint Miller was traveling northbound in a UTV when he struck a deer in the roadway. The impact caused the vehicle to leave the road and collide with a tree.

Emergency responders from the Onondaga Township Fire Department and MMR Ambulance were dispatched to the scene and attempted life-saving measures. Despite their efforts, Miller was pronounced dead from his injuries.

Officials have not released additional details regarding speed or other contributing factors at this time. The crash remains under investigation by the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office.

The tragic incident has left family members and friends mourning the sudden loss of Miller, a local Eaton Rapids resident whose life ended unexpectedly in the nighttime crash.

Authorities are reminding drivers to use caution, especially during nighttime travel in rural areas where wildlife crossings are more common.
