Family members, friends, and members of the Eaton Rapids community are mourning the sudden loss of 46-year-old Clint Miller, who died Thursday night following a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) crash in Ingham County, Michigan.

According to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 9:45 p.m. on June 18 in the 5800 block of Gale Road near Baseline Road in Onondaga Township.

Investigators said Miller was traveling northbound in a UTV when he struck a deer in the roadway. The impact caused the vehicle to leave the road and crash into a tree.

Emergency responders from the Onondaga Township Fire Department and MMR Ambulance arrived at the scene and immediately began life-saving efforts. Despite their response and medical intervention, Miller succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash. At this time, no additional contributing factors have been released, and the incident remains under investigation by the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office.
