Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on the Campbellsville Bypass near Walmart in Campbellsville, according to Kentucky State Police.

Trooper Jonathan Houk, public affairs officer for KSP, said troopers responded to the collision and launched an investigation into the crash.

A preliminary investigation indicates that 57-year-old Ann Copass of Greensburg was attempting to make a left turn onto the Campbellsville Bypass when her vehicle entered the path of an oncoming motorcycle driven by 35-year-old Christopher Penoyer of Campbellsville. The motorcycle collided with Copass’s vehicle.

Penoyer was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
