According to the Pickens County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. on Jim Hunt Road near Highway 183 in Easley, where emergency crews were dispatched after reports of a serious collision involving a vehicle and a lawn mower in the roadway. Investigators determined that the lawn mower was in the roadway when it was struck by oncoming traffic. The impact caused the operator to be ejected, resulting in critical injuries.
