According to authorities, Brockton Police received a 911 call reporting a man floating in a pool at 54 Michael Drive. When first responders arrived, they located a male victim who was deceased. Investigators reported that there were no obvious signs of suspicious trauma at the scene.
Following the discovery, Brockton Police contacted the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, and an investigation was launched into the circumstances surrounding Augustin’s death.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner took custody of the victim and will determine the official cause and manner of death. Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation remains ongoing.
