23-Year-Old Khyseem Hall in Custody After Deadly Hospital Shooting in Delaware Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

Authorities say 23-year-old Khyseem Hall is now in police custody after a deadly shooting at Wilmington Hospital on Tuesday afternoon that left one person dead and another injured.

According to investigators, the shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. on June 16 in Wilmington, prompting an immediate response from officers with the Wilmington Police Department. When police arrived at the hospital, they discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officials confirmed that one of the victims later died from their injuries, while the second victim was hospitalized for treatment. Authorities have not yet released the identities of either victim, and the condition of the surviving victim has not been made public.

Following the shooting, law enforcement launched a manhunt for the suspect, later identifying 23-year-old Khyseem Hall as the person believed to be responsible. Police announced that Hall was apprehended in Philadelphia just hours after the incident and will be extradited back to Delaware to face charges.

According to Wilmington Police Chief Wilfredo Campos, investigators believe the shooting was a targeted and isolated incident. Authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the deadly violence.
