In Loving Memory of Sandra Swann

Family, friends, and members of Warren Township are mourning the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of Sandra Swann, 66, whose life was tragically cut short following a devastating crash Wednesday morning in Ohio.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision occurred around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 422 Westbound and State Route 5 Westbound, turning an ordinary morning into a scene of unimaginable tragedy.

Preliminary investigators said the crash happened when another driver was traveling northwest on U.S. 422 while allegedly attempting to flee officers from the Warren Police Department. Authorities said Sandra had been stopped at a stop sign and had just begun entering the intersection from the Route 5 off-ramp when the fleeing vehicle violently collided with her car.

Sandra suffered severe injuries in the violent impact and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver involved, along with a teenage passenger, was transported to Mercy Health Hospital in Boardman for treatment of serious injuries, while multiple emergency agencies responded to assist during the tragic incident.

As news of her sudden passing spreads, loved ones are left heartbroken, struggling to come to terms with the loss of a woman whose life ended in a tragedy no family ever expects to face.

Sandra Swann’s passing leaves behind sorrow, cherished memories, and countless hearts forever changed by her loss. Though gone far too soon, she will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
