“My heart is shattered” | Daughter mourns after mother, Suzanne Biddle, found dead in apparent murder-suicide in Morgan County

A mother and a man were found dead inside a home in what authorities are describing as an apparent murder-suicide in Morgan County, Indiana, leaving a family devastated and a community in shock.

According to officials, police responded around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday to reports of gunshots in the 1700 block of South Denny Hill Road, just west of Paragon near State Road 67. Paragon is located about 40 miles southwest of Indianapolis.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered Suzanne Biddle, 48, and Jeffery Parks, 54, inside the residence, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities confirmed that both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Morgan County Sheriff Rich Myers stated that the incident is being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide, though officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

The tragic discovery has left loved ones grieving, including the daughter of Suzanne Biddle, who expressed her heartbreak, saying, “My heart is shattered.”
