Family members, friends, and members of the Pelham community are mourning the tragic loss of Courtney Diamond, 25, who died in a devastating head-on crash Friday night on Route 3 in Columbia, New Hampshire.
According to officials, the crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. when a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Diamond collided head-on with a southbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado. Investigators said the Camaro crossed the centerline for reasons that remain under investigation, resulting in the severe collision.
Courtney, the sole occupant of the Camaro, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the Silverado, a family of five, were transported to a local hospital. Two sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while three others suffered life-threatening injuries.
The sudden loss of Courtney has left her loved ones heartbroken as they come to terms with an unimaginable tragedy. Those who knew her are remembering her life, her presence, and the memories she shared with family and friends.
Several Good Samaritans stopped to help those involved in the crash before emergency crews arrived. Troopers and multiple emergency agencies responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation.
