Weers, 58, who died Friday night following a devastating crash involving a semi-truck hauling an Amazon trailer at the intersection of Highway 240 and Duportail Street in Richland, Washington.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. when a northbound semi-truck allegedly failed to stop at a red light and struck the Subaru Outback driven by Weers. The impact caused catastrophic damage to the vehicle and left emergency responders rushing to the scene.
Teresa suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead before she could be transported to a hospital. Her sudden and tragic passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
