Family, friends, and members of the Lemoore community are mourning the tragic loss of Christina King, 58, who was killed in a devastating crash involving a semi-truck on the 210 Freeway in Irwindale on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 9 a.m. just south of the Irwindale Avenue on-ramp. Investigators said a semi-truck traveling in the eastbound lanes crossed through the center divider wall and entered the westbound lanes, striking at least two other vehicles in a violent collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after the crash. Firefighters and paramedics worked urgently amid the chaotic aftermath, where multiple people were injured and vehicles were heavily damaged.
