In Loving Memory of Kevin Lucas

Family members, friends, and members of the Lititz community are mourning with deep sorrow and heavy hearts following the tragic loss of Kevin Lucas, a 47-year-old man who was found deceased after a shooting at Lancaster County Park on Wednesday evening.

According to authorities, the incident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. when police responded to reports of shots fired near Williamson Road and Rockford Road. Lancaster Township Police and Lancaster County Park Rangers initially arrived on scene before Lancaster City Police took over after it was determined the location fell within city limits.

When officers arrived, they found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Kevin Lucas was found deceased at the scene and was later pronounced dead by the Lancaster County Coroner. A second victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

His passing has left loved ones devastated, as family and friends struggle to comprehend the sudden and heartbreaking loss.
