In Loving Memory of Jerrold Rajewski

With heavy hearts, family members, friends, and members of the Blanchester community are mourning the tragic loss of 87-year-old Jerrold Rajewski, who died following a serious crash Thursday in Warren County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of US 22/3 and Middleboro Road. Rajewski was a passenger in a 2004 Toyota Camry traveling northbound on Middleboro Road when the vehicle failed to stop and was struck by a westbound Dodge Ram 1500.

Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, and due to the severity of his injuries, Rajewski was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital. Despite all medical efforts, he was later pronounced deceased.

His passing has left family and loved ones devastated, as they remember him as a cherished father, grandfather, friend, and valued member of the community. Those who knew him are holding onto memories of his life, finding comfort in the moments they shared and the impact he had on those around him.

The driver of the Camry was also seriously injured and transported to TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital for treatment. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and is expected to recover.

Authorities say the crash remains under investigation as they continue to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.

As the community mourns this heartbreaking loss, condolences and prayers continue to pour in for the family during this difficult time.
