Authorities in Greene County have confirmed two fatalities following a crash that occurred on Friday evening near Newport Highway and Kiser Loop in Tennessee.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 7:55 p.m. when a 2007 Lexus GX470 left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree. Emergency responders arrived shortly after reports of a serious single-vehicle crash.
The driver of the vehicle, Amber C. Buffaloe 38, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger, Corey R. Buffaloe 36, was airlifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries.
