Family, friends, and members of the Macon, Georgia, community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Kimberly McDaniel, 57, Danny Bass, 47, and William Daniel, 59, who were found deceased following a tragic incident inside a North Macon home Friday night.
According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, emergency responders were called to a residence on North Springs Court at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday after receiving reports of an emergency. When responders arrived, they discovered three people deceased inside the home.
Authorities said they believe the victims died as a result of exposure to a chemical inside the residence. Due to the potential hazard, officials ordered a hazmat response to allow investigators to safely enter and examine the home while protecting emergency personnel and others from possible chemical exposure.
The victims were identified as Kimberly McDaniel, 57, Danny Bass, 47, and William Daniel, 59. Their sudden passing has left family members, friends, and loved ones facing an unimaginable loss as authorities continue working to understand exactly what happened inside the home.
Animal control units also responded to the scene after officials reported that dogs were inside the residence when authorities arrived. Responders worked carefully to manage the situation while ensuring the safety of everyone involved.
