Authorities in Spartanburg County are investigating the death of Christian Robinson, 30, after he was transported by emergency medical services from Valley Road in Lyman early Saturday morning.
According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, officials responded to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday along with investigators following the reported death.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger identified the victim as Christian Robinson, who had been taken to the hospital by EMS from the Valley Road area. Despite medical efforts, Robinson was pronounced deceased.
The Lyman Police Department is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Robinson’s death. Authorities have not released additional details regarding what led to the incident or the events that occurred before emergency crews were called.
