According to the Hopewell Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 1:18 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, after reports came in regarding a shooting involving a male victim in the area.
When authorities arrived at the 1000 block of Langston Park Drive, near Winston Churchill, they discovered Azarieus Jozsiah Wooden Hill suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate efforts of first responders and emergency medical personnel who worked desperately to save him, the 17-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
