20-Year-Old Arrested After Fatal Shooting Claims Life of Theodore Walker Jr. in Union, S.C.

A deadly shooting in Union, South Carolina, has claimed the life of Theodore Walker Jr., as authorities continue their investigation and announce arrests in connection with the tragic incident.

According to the Union Public Safety Department, officers were called to a home on Arthur Boulevard at approximately 9:44 p.m. Monday following reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man lying in the grass near the back of the yard. Emergency medical personnel responded and confirmed that the victim was deceased. Authorities said the man appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound.

The victim was later identified as Theodore Walker Jr.

Following an investigation, authorities said suspects were identified and arrest warrants were issued. Omarion Kishawn Lipscomb, 20, of Buffalo, South Carolina, was taken into custody and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Lipscomb was booked into the Union County Jail.

A 15-year-old juvenile was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact of murder. Officials said the juvenile will be transferred to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.

Investigators are continuing to search for another juvenile who has been identified as a person of interest in the case.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Union Public Safety Department with the investigation as authorities work to uncover the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting.

The loss of Theodore Walker Jr. has left his family, friends, and the Union community grieving as they await further answers. Authorities continue to investigate while seeking justice for the victim and his loved ones.
