The Montgomery community is mourning the sudden loss of 29-year-old Lamar N. Wagler, who died following a suspected electrocution incident at a residence in Daviess County, Indiana.
.According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Central Dispatch received a call at approximately 11:29 p.m. reporting that a male had been found and was believed to be deceased. Deputies responded to the residence and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Investigators said preliminary findings indicate that Wagler was working on electrical wiring inside the home when he was allegedly electrocuted. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but he was pronounced dead.
Authorities confirmed that Wagler’s family contacted the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office after discovering him. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause of death, and the case remains under investigation.
