In Loving Memory of Jacob A. Lehrer

Family members, friends, and members of the Sandusky community are mourning the tragic loss of Jacob A. Lehrer, 30, who died in a fatal single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Milan Township.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 11 p.m. on River Road at the intersection of State Route 113. Preliminary findings indicate that Jacob was driving a Lincoln MKC southbound on River Road when the vehicle failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The vehicle continued through the intersection, left the roadway, struck a ravine, and overturned.

Authorities said Jacob was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sudden loss of Jacob has left his family, friends, and all who knew him heartbroken. As news of the tragedy spread throughout the community, many were left struggling to come to terms with the loss of a young life taken far too soon.
