A Newnan woman was killed early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Corinth Road, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Troopers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:04 a.m. near 3581 Corinth Road. A preliminary investigation indicates a Ford Fusion was traveling southwest when it left the roadway, struck several trees, and overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof in the northeast lanes of Corinth Road.
The driver, identified as Kristen Landrum-Prisk, 24, of Newnan, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Investigators said Landrum-Prisk was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck. The crash remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
