In Loving Memory: Kristen Landrum-Prisk

Family, friends, and members of the Newnan community are mourning the tragic loss of Kristen Landrum-Prisk, 24, who passed away early Thursday morning in a fatal single-vehicle crash on Corinth Road in Coweta County, Georgia.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, troopers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:04 a.m. near 3581 Corinth Road. A preliminary investigation indicates that a Ford Fusion was traveling southwest when it left the roadway, struck several trees, and overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof in the roadway. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, Landrum-Prisk was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Officials reported that she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. The crash remains under investigation as authorities continue to examine the circumstances that led to the incident.
