According to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, emergency personnel responded at approximately 7:40 a.m. on June 30 to the 27500 block of Thompson Corner Road after reports of a serious crash. Upon arrival, first responders located a pickup truck that had left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle and was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that Malik was the sole occupant of the vehicle. His sudden passing has left his family heartbroken and struggling to process the devastating loss of someone taken far too soon.
