Julio Matias, 41, was found dead in the White River on Wednesday evening, prompting an investigation by the Fayetteville Police Department in Arkansas.
According to police, officers received a call at approximately 7:45 p.m. on July 8, 2026, from a citizen who reported finding a body while flying a drone in the area.
Authorities responded to the area near Stonebridge and Dead Horse Mountain and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Police said Matias was found in the west fork of the White River.
