Family, friends, and the Fairmont community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jameson Graham, 15, who was killed in a tragic shooting early Friday morning, July 10, 2026, in Robeson County, North Carolina.
According to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 4:00 a.m. to the 1600 block of Henry Berry Road in Rowland after receiving a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, authorities found Jameson Graham of Fairmont deceased at the scene.
Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said Isaiah R. Thompson, 18, of Rowland, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Graham’s death. Thompson is being held without bond at the Robeson County Detention Center.
Authorities said Thompson was also charged with breaking and entering, larceny, and felony conspiracy in an unrelated case.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting.
