A deadly triple shooting in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood has left two men dead and a woman critically injured, according to police. The incident happened around 12:49 a.m. near 65th Street and Hermitage Avenue.
Investigators say three people were standing outside a residence when a white SUV pulled up, and an unidentified suspect inside the vehicle opened fire multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Authorities said 31-year-old Tywon Monice suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, while 30-year-old Bobb Marlyy was struck in the head during the shooting. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
A 26-year-old woman was also hit multiple times by gunfire during the attack. She was rushed to the hospital and remains in critical condition as doctors continue treating her injuries.
Police have not announced any arrests, and detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting as they work to identify the suspect responsible for the deadly attack.
