David Csaszar Dies After Crash on I-91 in Windsor, Connecticut

Family, friends, and members of the Enfield community are mourning the loss of David Csaszar, 35, who died following a serious crash on Interstate 91 in Windsor early Sunday morning.

According to Connecticut State Police, the crash happened at approximately 3:41 a.m. on I-91 northbound near the Exit 37 on-ramp. Investigators said Csaszar’s vehicle left the roadway, struck a metal guardrail on the right shoulder, crossed all lanes of traffic, and then hit a concrete barrier in the median before rolling onto its side.

Police said the vehicle was struck by another vehicle while it was disabled in the center lane of the highway. Csaszar was the only occupant of his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle suffered possible injuries, according to authorities.

The crash remains under investigation as state police work to determine the events that led to the collision.

David Csaszar’s death has left loved ones and members of the Enfield and Windsor communities grieving the sudden loss of a life taken far too soon. Friends and family are remembering him and offering support to one another during this difficult time.
